How to fix a constant "jittering" of xbox dashboard?

When in the home screen, the outline of any game or app selection is constantly flashing/jittering as if im spamming the A button to open it-any dropdown menus(like the game filters in the library) open immediately upon hovering over them and cannot be closed or navigated...

tried hard resetting and using different controllers. The problem presists after controller swaps and hard resets. Is my only option a factory reset?

Thanks, fortunately the issue corrected itself after an hour or so...i think the cause of the issue was leaving a game running while the console was in sleep mode

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

I apologize but yes, we may need to reset the console keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

I was wrong about the problem being fixed. Still jitter en tearing.
