    How to find out if a game preview has a policy attached


    Apart from when you first join the game preview is there any other way to find out if a game has a policy that doesn’t allow you to share footage with others. I’m wondering because I am in multiple previews and sometimes I almost forget but I haven’t made the mistake yet

    Gamertag Release!

    It shows that the gamertag gako is taken.

    Yes they did a release nearly 3 years ago but implemented a policy after that.

    The new policy is this.

    The MS account that the Gamer Tag is attached has to be inactive for 5 years (starting in 2016).

    Keep this in mind MS accounts are used for more then just xbox profiles so even if you search for the activity for that Gamer Tag and it shows inactive on the xbox that does not mean that the MS account that it is attached is not active somewhere else in
    MSs services.

    The earliest that you will be able to find out if it has been active somewhere else and it will be released would be 2021

    Anyone else have this issue?

    If your not in the preview programme there is a chance someone has sent you a message with a video/game clip attached therefore you can't see it causing the phantom message.

    No, you will have to send it back to the store you got it from, so if you bought it online, you will have to look at their return policies on their website to find out how to return it.

    Gamertag Request HELP PLEASE

    In 2016 MS rolled out a policy that if a tag is not used for 5 years/logged into it will be cycled out. You have to wait till 2021.

    A gamertag can not be requested.

    If a gamertag is attached to a perma banned account that tag will not be recycled.
