How to Factory Reset Xbox Series S Issue, the correct way!

Thank you for your help. I have tried that, but the troubleshooter mode only stays up for about 5 seconds, then the system shuts off by itself. It doesn’t give me enough time to get my controller connected. I have tried plugging my controller in directly, but it still takes a few seconds to connect to the console. Not enough time to be able to click anything before the system shuts itself off. Would a usb keyboard work to at least get it started?

Kindly try to connect your console directly to a wall socket then follow the steps below:

1. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

2. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.

3. Press and hold the Pair button (located on the left side of the console) and then press the Xbox button on the console.

4. Continue holding the Pair button for 10-15 seconds.

5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the Pair button after the second power-up tone.

6. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.
