How to Enable Buddy / Friend Request in Minecraft Pocket Edition for iPhone?

Hi there,

I am the parent of two under 13 year old children and I'm trying to get them to be able to add each other as buddies / friends on Minecraft Pocket Edition for iPhone.

All the instructions tell me to login as parent account which I've done, and then go to the privacy settings which I've done.

I have changed EVERYTHING to allow to try to get this issue resolved but still I am getting the error message:

"You cannot add friends because of how your Microsoft Account is set up. This can be changed in your privacy and online safety settings on asa.ms/accountsettings

I have enabled all settings on both devices but still this error is showing up.

I will of course be changing the settings back once I've been able to get them to become buddies to play in each others worlds.

I think so. They are logged into Minecraft on their iPhones. Is that what you mean, or do I need to log them in somewhere else?

Where would I go to know if they are logged in to their xbox accounts?

Ok and what about the other settings? I would like to play Minecraft: Pocket Edition on my iPhone, everything is set to allow, but still can't do anything.

I also don't have a console. I made this account just for Minecraft on my iPhone.

you cant edit the xbox 360 parental settings from a Web page or the xbox one it has to be dine from the xbox 360
