Hi Sam, your first question actually lead to the solution. The game was reverting to 1080p each time i ran the game, so it then messed with the windows. I had to edit the ini file of the game to maintain the 1440p res.

Did you try starting it in windowed mode. Turn fullscreen off from the settings ini file.
