How to download present

hello all. I have a silly question from a non-gamer.

How do I download a game which is intended as a Christmas present. Only option I've seen so far is to send to recipients account via e-mail. Need to download now as it's on special offer but don't want son to receive download until Xmas day.

Can't get Download Present (Wireless Controller)

Hi Guys,

recently I got a message from XBOX Live. I got a code for creating a new XBOX Live account. Copied and pasted the code, the present is a Wireless Controller.

But how do I download such a thing

The present is currently in my download queue, but when I try to download it says: "Sorry, this site has moved - try something else"

What can I do?

How can I buy a download code for someone else through the Microsoft store and give it as a present for Christmas or Birthday?

You could create another account to get the code and hold onto the code until Christmas. Other then that I don't think there is any way to do so.

I bought the game age of empire this 2 mai 2020. By the activation 'give a present', i try to download this game, but this download was to long. Now, i can't download this game because the present is activated (no download). What do i do ?

If the Game was reddemed on Your account, you should Have no Problem By Istalling It. Try See "My Games and Apps.

Thanks for coming to the forums. Is your friend in the same region? If not this is why they have not received the code as you are unable to send gifts to different regions.

Sorry to hear it. Please make sure that he's checking his Xbox Live Messages in the Message Center. That is where he'll get the code.

If the gift was sent from within Fortnite then he will need to have 2FA enabled to receive them from within the game.
