How to download owned Minecraft k to PC

Hello,

So I own Minecraft on my Xbox Console, and would like to play it on my PC desktop.

My account on PC though states I don't own the Game and would need to buy it again.

I don't want to buy again, as I already own the game and have been playing it for over 10 years on my xbox consoles.

Can you please help?

Minecraft is not a Play Anywhere title. You would have to purchase it for PC if you want to play it on PC.

You would have to purchase Minecraft for Windows 10 in order to play it on the PC. Unfortunately Minecraft is not a Play Anywhere title so you can't download it for free on the PC just for owning it on the console and it's not available through Game Pass for PC.

To change your skin in minecraft windows 10 edition, click your character on the main menu. The website you're trying to use is for the original minecraft for pc, or commonly known as java minecraft. Even though both games are minecraft for pc, they are
totally different products. That explains the error you're receiving; you don't actually own minecraft for pc/mac, you own minecraft for windows 10.

create each child their own accounts and use yours as the parent account, then on each pc when they are signed in open the store and xbox app and sign out, sign in with your name and download minecraft, once done log out of the store and xbox app on both and log in with their names respectively and boom they both have minecraft and their own gamertags.
