    Hey guys, I bought Guardians Of The Galaxy on the store but there doesn't seem to be an option anywhere to download it. Can I download it? I dont want to stream it

    How to start a rented download movie?

    The movie is listed in my hard drive storage in my videos folder as;

    Stalingrad (2013) 1.5 GB

    Video

    I have the 250 GB memory with 169 GB Free.

    microsoft sells movies they cant provide

    This is the main reason I stopped purchasing Movies & TV Shows from Xbox Video. At least on the 360 you could download them. It even says in the fine print that you should download by a certain date as it could be removed from the marketplace.

    There are a few movies I own and downloaded, but are no longer in purchase history. So if I were to delete it from my 360, I wouldn't be able to watch at all. Really strange business practice. I can understand this for rentals, but what other video purchase
    site removes content paid for? Only Xbox Video...

    But.. you have purchased the movie in question. If you buy a copy of something you should be able to download it. You have purchased a licence to own....
    Usually, you purchase a license to play the movie. You do not "own" a digital download. The publisher (i.e. the movie studio) can make up the rules on how you access your licensed right to watch the movie. If they allow a download, they you can download
    it. If they only allow streaming, then you can't download it and have to watch it while being online.

    All I am saying is do not BUY your movies from XBOX VIDEO
    since you limit where the movies you own can be seen.
    That's a decision for each buyer to make.
