How to do I get my game to work?

Okay so I This game has not worked on my computer for a long time. It's Called Sonic adventure 2 and i bought it off of steam, but Steam doesn't have a support, they only have a community who is just a as stumped so i believe this has something to do with windows. Now i've tired uninstalling it and reinstalling it, it doesn't work. I've done so many things to get this game working that i can't remember exactly what i did. Also I just reinstalled it today and have not done anything to it. Here's the error message i get

The error you have is due to you not having a resolution selected in the top right box

Does it happen to all of your games?

Let's try to clear your game's local data instead.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide and then select My games & apps > See all > Games.
Highlight the game title, and then press the Menu button on your controller.
Select Manage game and add-ons > Saved data.
Select Delete all to remove the local save of this game, then follow the prompts.
After you delete the local save, restart your Xbox:
Press and hold the Xbox button in the centre of your controller.
Select Restart console, then follow the prompts.
After you restart your Xbox, re-sync your saved games to the cloud. Your saved games are automatically stored in the cloud while you're connected to the Xbox service.
Try playing the game again to see if re-syncing with the cloud corrected the game problem.

Is it possible that your barracks has limitations on its internet usage? It could be blocking the download. The easiest way to check that would be to see if you can connect it to someone’s mobile hotspot, then try to download something.

I also have a PC on the same internet that downloads games just fine. I got the Xbox because there are games I can’t play on my pc that I wanted to play.
