How to disconnect an email from an unused Microsoft account

You can change the primary email from a Microsoft email to a gmail or any other. However if you remove the Microsoft email from the account totally then that email will be unusable. If you leave it as a secondary on the account you will still be able to
use the Microsoft email.

No, you cannot transfer the Microsoft Account email address or any part of the account to another account.

You will have to forward all your emails to a new Microsoft account and transfer your OneDrive files to that one. You then can remove your email address from the old one and get your ex to add a brand new one (that has never been created before) this will
delete the old email address, the old email address will be unusable.

How did you do this? Which web page was used?

I'm struggling to show what I mean with the removal of even fake email addresses.

I want to use an email address from an unused account as the email on my main account.

Account can never be actually deleted from the system. Best thing is to switch this one to some unused email, so you can switch the good account to the wanted email.
