How to disable Xbox Political Posts?

I woke up to this tile on my home screen advertising some nonsense "Platinum Rule" political post on Xbox.

I've been seeing a LOT of these and I really don't want to see them.

They are incredibly frustrating.

I'm trying to play video games at 11 AM on my day off.

I just spent over 40 hours this week dealing with politics, religion, and all that stuff.

I don't want to have it shoved down my throat by a company that makes video game consoles.

Is there any way to prevent Xbox from forcing its political opinions on me?

I don't care about what their ToS says. I don't play online. But why on earth does it need to be front and center on my homescreen as soon as my console boots?

Is the only way to avoid this to disconnect my console from the internet and just cancel my Gamepass subscription?

Because seriously, I'm tired of seeing this stuff. It's borderline a monthly occurrence at this point I'm getting some random "There's some new political trend and we are gonna make sure you know what side we are on" and it's incredibly frustrating. I just want to play my games on my days off and not have to get someone else's opinions shoved in my face.

I stopped playing online with others specifically because I decided I don't want to have to deal with other people's politics and nonsense.

Then Xbox starts shoving their own politics and nonsense in a place where I can't avoid it.

So, is there a way to tell Microsoft to stop putting this junk on my homescreen or am I going to have to go the route of just canceling gamepass and playing PC games instead where I can just block these kinds of things with my own code?

If there's no "No politics" option of some kind or another, I don't want to keep paying for Gamepass. I have it because I enjoy gaming. But it entirely spoils my mood to enjoy a game when I'm forced to read some political nonsense as soon as my console boots.

It's not asking people to be decent to each other though.

Asking people to be decent to each other is just that.

This isn't asking you to be nice. This is forcing some random garbage political nonsense directly into my face.

Xbox makes Game Consoles. I pay them to play video games.

It's bad enough that you pay them to be advertised to and have your data sold.

If I can be ok with that, why can't Xbox be ok with not forcing politics down my throat?

They wrote a WHOLE thing on the fricken XBOX HELP APP about treating people how THEY want to be treated?

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard and it's NOT something I want thrown into my face against my will.

I've easily given Xbox hundreds of thousands of dollars over the 13 years I've been a subscriber.

Why should I have to see this?

I've never been banned, never done anything wrong, always followed ToS.

So how exactly is this not politics?

Let's blast some random garbage that people talk about on Twitter to 100% of our clientele and bother all of them.

It's bad enough the game devs themselves and the publishing companies are all pandering to every group under the sun.

I just want to play my games, by myself, not have to listen to other people or deal with Xboxs political opinions.

Xbox is towing an agenda, and I don't want to be apart of it.

(PS: there have been anti-harassment and anti-bulkying policies and punishments on place for MANY years. This was nothing more than a Political move by Xbox to gain more support from the people that run the media, so they'll be hoisted and advertised for free. I'm not stupid, but apparently you're unable to read through corporate dreck to understand that this big multi-billion dollar corporation is 110% NOT looking out for people's mental or physical health. They don't care. They just want the political brownie points. If you can't see that, maybe you should stop talking)

Asking people to be respectful of each other is just human decency. It is not politics. Ignore it if you wish but this isn't a political stance.

Please do not turn this thread into a political debate EMW80. People are very sensitives about their politics and it can easily derail threads such as this.

Everyone has their point of view, and everyone is entitled to it. However these are the xbox forums and this was a post about the Xbox. Iets leave political debates for a political forum
