How to disable performance in game bar?

Hi CyLerner, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

You can simply click on the "performance" icon when you toggle to your Xbox Game Bar, that should disable/remove the performance tab on your end. You can also just click "X" button.

Another step will be going through performance options, you can disable metrics from there such as FPS.

Got it. To further isolate the issue, please try to disable your 3rd party anti-virus software if you have one installed as it's possible it may be causing the service to suspend. You could also try disabling your firewall temporarily.

Alternatively, let's also try to perform a clean boot to disable 3rd party services and check if your Game Bar works fine without them running.

Maybe some program or service is causing this type of problem. Disable as many third-party programs as you are using on your PC and perform a clean boot.

Also, look for Game Bar in Windows bar>right click>app settings and click ''terminate, repair and restore'', restart your PC, and test if the problem persists.

I was successfully able to remove the game bar by changing one number in the registry.

This was the result of my search and someone explained how to do this.
