How To Disable New Party Chat Box

It's only 3 player Co-Op, and it's not geared towards friends. I don't really understand why they feel the need to block party chat.

Today I bought the game Dark Souls. The issue of group conversation makes me very disappointed. I want to party chat works fine! I would like to chat with friends while playing online. Its 4 co-op right?!

I think that not using voice chat in Dark Souls is an interesting addition. You are forced to use gestures and body language to get your point across, and it can be a bit of a challenge sometimes to make yourself understood. When you are Sunbro-ing or invading,
there's a lot of non-verbal communication going on. The bowing when you get summoned, as a greeting or giving thanks. Using the pointing gestures to call attention to danger, instead of just being able to speak. Using "Well? What is it?" when calling somebody
on. Or, even a simple shrug when you get summoned by the same host two or three times in a row, after dying to the same boss.

Plus, I don't have to hear 12 year olds spewing racist, homophobic tirades.
