How to disable cloud sync on xbox one?

To disable cloud saves you have to set the console to offline mode that way games won't be saved on the cloud just on the local storage

I don't care about resyncing and losing my progress, I just want to know how to disable cloud syncing.

There is no way to disable the automatic syncing with the cloud. Also there is no way to have it synced manually.

Afaik savegames are uploaded to the cloud in the background when you reach a control point in your game or better said, when the savegame is saved by the game.

The resyncing is done everytime you start a game. The one then checks if the savegame in the cloud is newer than the local stored one. If so, it will be downloaded automatically. If the local stored one is newer you will be prompted.

I haven't picked up the console yet. The cloud syncing was a major concern of mine, and a deciding factor. I'm glad to know it doesn't sync after every save, which is what I was lead to believe. That wold be an unnecessary data drain.

It really is a shame that there's no way to disable the sync, and I hope Microsoft gives us the ability to do so in a future update.

One last question, if you don't mind. I'm not too familiar with cloud storages and how they manage incoming/outgoing data. When the cloud syncs, is the ENTIRE file uploaded again, or just the data that has been changed since the last synchronization? I'm
seriously hoping it's the latter
