how to disable advertising and othes stufs on home screen (dashboard)

Hi!

I need to know, how to disable advertising and othes stufs that I don't whant to see on my home screen / dashboard of my XBOX ONE

Remove advertising from home screen!

Is there a way to remove advertising from the home screen? If not, there should be. I can't imagine any paying Gold customer actually wants to see a big Starbucks ad when they login. Given all the customization options available, there should be an option
to customize your home screen to disable or prohibit advertising. I could maybe let it slide on the "Store" page, but the home page should be off limits.

 

How do I disable sponsored ad tiles on home screen?

On my Xbox console home screen, the apps and games tab has 2 tiles to the right taken by ads and a banner above them as well. How do I opt out or disable this content?

AD's cant be disabled from the console Home/Store Pages. AD's have always been on the service since the start of Gold

 

As the others have mentioned. There's no way to disable the Sponsored adds, nor the Featured tile. You do have the option to hide some of the tile content that's displayed however. It doesn't completely remove the tiles, but it will change what's displayed
to a certain extent.

Say you see the tips or Gamerscore leaderboard tiles in the middle of the Home dashboard. If you press the menu (start) button on your controller. You'll be given an option to give feedback. You can select the + to show more like this, or you can select
the - to show less like this. This is really the only method of changing some of what you see on your main Home dashboard currently.

 

On the xbox one I don not think it is possible. Back in the day on the xbox 360 you used to be able to block Microsoft advertising servers via your router settings and that would block ads. But that doesn't work anymore

 

as mentioned above it cannot be but ide like to provide some incite into WHY . ads are a form of marketing and marketing is what helps many companies bring in business, sadly not all ads apply to everyone but you still see it and may know someone who may
benefit from it. So sorry but you will have to endure them and who knows maybe an ad will come up that interests you

I understand you arguments, but i dont agree with them! Sorry!

Lets talk without stress... and try to understand my point of view.



1 - I bouth the XONE - its not free for me - here in brazil its costs "one eye of face"...

2 - I pay for the games, gold signature and they are very spensive - here in brazil its costs "the other eyes of face"... ;-)

3 - MS earn a LOT of money with this ads and do not give anything to us :-(... and its ok, cause its her business...



BUT, paying for all this stufs, I whant of my rigths to chosse what I whant to see on my dashboard.

And I dont whant to see ADS. Simply like that!

Its my choice... And we know too, thats very simple to Microsoft fix it...



If MS would change her earn mode and let us play all games for free, IN THIS CASE, I agree with you and ADS would be aceptable. But, we know thats impossible...

Gold in very inexpensive and the Ads help to keep it that way. Someone has to pay for everything that it takes to run a network the size of Xbox Live. I can say that with a Gold subscription being only $5 monthly (purchased yearly) I can put up with
the Ads. Anyway, I don't spend enough time on the dashboard for it to make a lot of difference.

 

What type of ads? I don’t have any.

 

Would be nice if you could pay for Gold and get rid of ads but sadly that seems like it’ll never happen.
