    Hello all,

    I have been trying to find a workaround for this for years, but I haven't, which is why I'm here...

    I want to convert my Minecraft world on my PS4 to my PC to play it on Minecraft Java.

    I used a USB stick to copy the world save onto it, then plugged it into the computer.

    I could have used a realm to transfer the world between the two machines, but my ps4 is 8 years old, takes time to load anything simple and I forgot the email and password to the Microsoft account linked to my user. I also don't want to buy Minecraft bedrock on my pc just for this.

    I plugged in the USB into my pc and I was greeted with two files in a folder called "CUSA00265". The 2 files were *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** and a normal file called "BedrockWorldlSfEYTIxBAA@P2".

    I have tried to use the Chunker world converter on both of these files, but it never worked. I tried compressing both these files, converting them into a .mcworld file, but the conversion still didn't work. I even tried dragging the .bin file into the 'saves' folder, still trying to get it to work, but it didn't.

    Before anyone kindly helps me, I want to make it clear that I do not want to buy any third-party software for this to work or use the bedrock pc edition, or do any python coding or exploiting etc. I want to stick to the files on my USB drive. I have scrolled through various forums, including planet Minecraft, reddit, and the official one. I tried all the steps. Many people have this problem, so if I solution is found for this, it would graciously help hundreds of others. I know that there is a fix to this, but it just isn't known or isn't public.

    I would greatly appreciate if anyone could kindly help me. It would save me many hours of research and trying over and over again.

    I am having the same problem, sadly I do not have an answer for you. I too have spent days scouring the internet to find a solution, and no one seems to have the correct information. I am posting this comment to redirect attention to this question, and hoping beyond hope that finally someone will figure this thing out.

    This is not helpful because of step 7. How do you select the PS4 world? I've tried using a flash drive to take the world from my PS4 and upload it onto my PC. However, they do not seem to be the same format.

    For this you will need to copy your world and make it available in a forum for download. Regular Minecraft save worlds to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves\, Windows 10 edition saves worlds to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\
    LocalState \ games \ com.mojang \ minecraftWorlds. Worlds are saved in different formats so you cannot copy worlds from java based version to windows 10 version.

    this file worked for "C:\Users\Your PC Name\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang\minecraftWorlds"
