I know they got rid of the points but im still confused on how the convert the point I get from my rewards into cash right now I 4000points what will that come to in cash and how is it coverted also can I use this to buy the shark cards from gta v

The 30050 Credits is your lifetime amount, which includes previously deposited Credits. Currently you only have 4200 Credits pending (not deposited). We only schedule a deposit automatically at 5000 or more pending Credits. Since your pending Credit amount
is beneath this amount, it has not been scheduled. If you would like to request a scheduled deposit, you may do so once you are at 1000 or more pending Credits. There will be a button on your MyRewards page.

Since being introduced in October, Gems have never had a Credit or currency value assigned to them. They can only be spent on purchases from the Vault. However, we realize that users have grown attached to their Gems, so when you are transitioned to Microsoft
Rewards, they will be converted into points. Note that Microsoft Rewards points and Xbox Live Rewards Credits are not the same. Your Gems will not be converted into Xbox Live Rewards Credits if you choose to remain in the Rewards programs, but will be converted
into Microsoft Rewards Points.

What you are referring to is a part of the Xbox Live Rewards program. Those are rewards credits not MS points.

What are Rewards Credits and how can I use them?

A. Rewards Credits are a way of keeping track of the cash you earn through Xbox Live Rewards. Once you accumulate 5,000 Credits or more, we will automatically convert them into to your country's local currency and deposit your cash into your Microsoft account.
Then, you can head over to the Xbox stores to purchase your favorite games, Movies, Avatar props and much more!

A. 5,000 Rewards Credits are equal to $5 USD.

the ONLY thing changed here is the points conversion to real money, Microsoft announced this at E3 that this was coming, beta testers had the change first.

when you buy a points card it will be converted to cash on Xbox Live, you purchase whatever you want, its your choice and money. any remaining cash will remain on your xbox live account. you do NOT lose anything.
