How to connect wired Hyperx Cloudx Stinger 2 headset to Xbox one?

I’ve just bought a new hyperx stinger 2 that is wired and it is compatible with the Xbox one.

I’ve plugged the 3.5mm jack into the controller that’s also connected to the console however, I am still not able to hear anything. I’ve also changed all the audio settings but to no avail.

I plugged it into my computer and the audio worked.

My Xbox one is pretty old but it works just fine and keeps updating also it’s connect to my desktop via HDMI, if that helps.

I understand how this type of problem can be annoying! I'm an independent advisor here on the forums, here to help you find a solution.

Try clearing the cache on your console:

1. Turn off the console by holding the power button for 10 seconds.

2. Unplug the power cable from the back.

3. Wait at least 10 seconds.

4. Plug the power cable back in.

5. Turn the console back on.

6. Plug-in your headset and check the Xbox Accessories App for updates.

If you can, try it with a different controller connected to the Xbox.

I also suggest checking the product documentation pages to make sure you completed all the required steps.

Hey thanks for responding, I tried what you suggested and there’s been no changes.

I also don’t have a secondary controller right now to test it out wit.

Is there anything else I could try?
