How to connect IPv6

I have popped a link below, the Xbox console is ready to accept IPv6 but on most routers, its turned off by default. So you would need to go into your router settings and enable it and if that still does not work, speak to your ISP to see if available to you as not all ISP's are using it.

Could you confirm which device you are using? If its a console, then its ready to accept IPv6 and usually its either a router setting needs to be changed or the ISP needs to do something their end. It might also be that the ISP doesn't use IPv6.

According to Xbox support:

"Several home routers support IPv6 but disable it by default. Check the manual for your router, or visit our Networking Hardware Information support forum."

This means that if you have access to your router settings you can simply enable it from there but if not, I would recommend reaching out to your Internet Service Provider so they can guide you or they can enable it on their end.

You can only connect to IPv6 if your Internet provider supports it and if your modem/router does too. You should contact your Internet provider if they support it or plan to sometime in the future.
