If the drive is correctly configured and formatted to FAT32, then first verify that it’s securely connected to the USB port on your console. Try different USB ports (there’s one at the front and two at the back) or perhaps test various other compatible devices to confirm that the specific port is working properly.

If you’ve already configured it, try connecting your USB flash drive after the console starts up and see if it appears.

It would be best to perform a hard reset by disconnecting the power cable (from both the wall outlet and the console itself) and wait at least 10 seconds before reconnecting everything to completely reset the power supply, then reconnect the USB only once you reach the Xbox dashboard. It might take a moment for it to be recognised.

To use a USB device with your Xbox 360, you will need to format it in a specific way and save your content to it in the correct location.

Connect the USB device to your computer and format it as a FAT32 device.

Create a folder on the device called "Xbox360".

Inside the "Xbox360" folder, create a folder called "Content".
