    How to completely upload Original Xbox Avatar Changes?


    Ever since the discontinuation of the Xbox avatars app (the next gen avatars) I’m now unable to save changes to my XBOX original avatar, I can save it in the original avatar app so that it doesn’t lose progress but it does not take effect in games like Doritos Crash Course, as the next gen avatar app published the original avatar to Xbox live, so what do I do now? How do I fully publish a Original avatar to XBOX Live via Xbox One or Windows?

    There is an ‘Xbox Original Avatars’ app and a ‘Xbox Avatar Editor’ app

    if you want to keep your 360 Avatar as is you can download the original avatars app and customize through there and then vis versa with the Xbox one version if you would like an updated/new look for your Avatar. Both can be found througu the microsoft store
    for free or through games and apps search bar.

    There are two differents apps - one for the old avatars, one for the new avatars.

    You will have to install and use the old app, "Xbox Original Avatars".

    The ability to upload Custom Gamer Pics has been restored. Here are a few suggestions to get this fixed. Are you trying to do this on console with Xbox Avatar, or Original Avatar? You might try using the Xbox mobile app, or if you have a PC with Windows
    10 you can get the Xbox Avatar and Original Avatar from the Windows Store. Try removing your account from the console, then power cycle the console by holding the power button in until it turns off, then sign back in and try to change the gamer pic again.
    Is your console up to date as well, there was a new update this past week that might have fixed some issues causing this error? You can also put custom pics on a USB drive and upload them with the Xbox Media app on the console.
