To have an account of a deceased owner deleted, you'll need to get help via email. You will need to have a Microsoft account to proceed - not necessarily the account that you need to close.

Please click this link: Get account help by email, then select I need help closing my account.

After signing in, there will be a field asking for the short description of the issue, email address in question, email address of the requestor and detailed description of the issue. You will be asked to fill out and submit a form to be able to delete the
said account.

your Microsoft account support page.

However in this instance you may want to get in touch with Xbox Support via
