How to change what email adress my xbox account is associated with?

You can change your e-mail (aliases) but it will remain tied to your Dad account.

"Email addresses and phone numbers associated with your Microsoft account are called aliases and they use the same contacts, online storage, subscriptions, and account settings.

You can use any of your aliases to sign in to Microsoft services or your Windows and Xbox devices, and you can select any of them for sending and receiving email. Your aliases share a single password."

Log in to your account with your current primary alias.

On this page you can add a new e-mail address and then select it as your primary by clicking on Make primary.

From what I understood, you would like a new account of your own but maintain the games and progression, currently, that is not possible.

I got bored waiting so i tired to create an account directly from my xbox 360 but when i entered the email adress it said that my email adress was already associated to an xbl account and told me to select a different email adress so i still don't know how
to log on with my console to xbox live with the account i created here. it is exceedingly anoying me and i really would be gratefull of any information because i really don't want to create a new hotmail account just to be able to connect to xbox live

This may have been the result of Xbox stepping up security recently. If you remember the email adress, you can enter it and sign into the account, and then in either the child's profile or the parent one, you can change the email adress and password that
are associated with the account. There is also an option to stop asking for a password. I hope this helps!
