    I am a member of a microsoft family account which is controller by my father. I have a xbox account which contains a functioning credit card and also 10€ of funding but cannot purchase a subscription of 1€ with the following message apearing on the screen: " You need an adult to buy this. We can´t send a request for this one, so you´ll have to ask them another way. We find saying please tends to work wonders." I have already tried changing permissions of what I can do with my account and it doesn´t seem to be working.

    Hello gabmarx, sorry to hear you're having trouble adding the permissions.

    You can change permissions either via https://account.microsoft.com/family or by using the Xbox Family app. Once settings have been changed the child account must be signed out and then back in again for them to take effect.

    However, if you still have trouble getting the membership may I suggest purchasing it on your account then use the Home feature on the console to share the membership to your son.     a child account cannot sign up for subscriptions. You have to be legal age in your country.

    Your father's account would have to buy it

    Hey there K1LL3R SHRIKE44.

    If you set your Xbox Live account with a birthdate that puts you under the age of 18 you'll need to wait until your birthday to promote yourself to an adult account. Keep in mind changing your age later will not change the child account status of your account.

    Your Xbox Live account's status has nothing to do with the age restriction. The age on your EA account I'm guessing is under the age of 13. EA doesn't allow those under 13 to play their online services.

    Changing the age under your profile data cannot change your xbox account from child to adult. If you have registered an account under 18+ of age in xbox live service that is a child account
