How to change the name in the account (example: ClanAmachita [Rubens Schner])

The xbox live account i use to play (ClanAmachita) is my dad’s account. He said he could give it to me, so I want to change the name that appears on the right side near the gamertag. How do I change it?

You can not transfer accounts. Once a name is tied to it, then it stays associated.

Also if it has a Microsoft email (@outlook, @live, @hotmail etc) changing/deleting the email will stop access your father might have to other Microsoft services associated with the email address.

Try logging in to your Microsoft account and changing your name to update it for example.
