How to change the language of an Xbox Game Pass game or the app itself?

I recommend looking in your in game settings to try to change a games language. It definitely depends on the game having multiple languages available. The settings for Language saying English is for the Xbox Console itself.

In the game self you can change the language in the settings tab in the game there you usually can select subtitles and change the language of the game itself

Try going to system settings on your Xbox to check what the language is. If that doesn't work then there may be an option in the game itself to change the language.

Not sure how to change language off the top of my head but it is definitely not a limitation of game pass.
