Unfortunately, we do not have access to accounts/account information and are unable to assist with errors such as this. However, I would recommend contacting your email provider for additional assistance since you will be unable to update your Microsoft account information without verification.

Supposedly, you will be getting an email about changing the email to the account because that is the only way to change the email if that was your email before on that specific account. As it will send a verification code to complete the change. It does not change immediately without verification. Was your email also compromised before?

Just thought of another thing;

5.) Why is there no verification email sent regarding a change of email address or location linked to the gamertag? It strikes me that all (?) of these instances could have been avoided if when the details were changed a simple verification email was sent
to the original email address asking them to authorise the change? Isn't that pretty much standard practice these days?

address that is connected to your account. sign on to xbox.com and go through the process of verifying your account. Here is a
