How to change Microsoft account privacy settings while the email change is pending

So, I decided it would be a good idea to play Minecraft again. I started downloading and setting up the launcher and thought why not change my old Microsoft account email to my new one as part of the process. Then I boot up Minecraft Java and turns out you have to change some privacy setting to enable multiplayer which has never been the case before. And now I can't access the setting because the migration process is underway and will take a whole month! And when I tried to access my old email (which was some random @pp.inet.fi) I found out that the service provider doesn't even exit anymore.

So is there anything I can do to either cancel the migration process or change the privacy setting? I wouldn't want to wait a whole month to play Minecraft with my friends.

Based on your description, I just want to clarify that you have requested to change the security information on your account and now you're waiting 30 days for the security info change to be completed, is that correct?

If yes, I have also experienced that before and I'm afraid that you will need to wait for the security information change to be completed in order to manage your Xbox privacy settings.

It is not possible to manage the privacy settings to enable the multiplayer settings during the 30-day security lockdown.

You can only cancel the 30-day security lockdown if you have access to your old email/phone number security information. You may check this link for more information on how to cancel your security information change request:

changing the email will not change, the access email is just a name and password, the restriction is in the profile, you must change the privacy settings, and remove your family account where your parents configure the settings for your account if there is.

To change the privacy settings your account must be an adult account, otherwise you will not have access.

You are trying to change an adult account to a child account? While the age of the account is determined by the DOB on said account, we can change the privacy settings for this account to have child-like privileges.
To do this, just navigate to Settings>Privacy & online safety>and make the appropriate changes their.
