How to change gamer picture after phone update?

It used to be easy on the phone but now I dont see an option to change my profile picture to a custom picture. I also tried uploading stuff to the one drive and accessing it on my xbox but its not showing new pictures in my one drive on xbox

OP, I have no idea as to how to change the picture via Xb web site, but if you have gamer pictures on your 360 console.

Settings >profile >edit profile >gamer picture >change gamer picture (This is the one which will show up here on the forums.. Takes an hour or more for the changes)

Or >change personal picture. (Which will show on the console itself.)

This is how I change my picture for both the console and my forum picture.

You can DL free gamer pictures etc by going to games via the console. Click search and then enter >free gamer pictures< and/or themes. Hope this helps!

Are you changing the Personal picture or Gamer picture? Personal = Friends. Gamer = Everyone else.

If so Give it some time it takes a little while to update

That's not how it works. The system gives you a unique numerical ID as well, and that's what is stored with posts and everything else. Your gamertag is not repeated within their databases, just that numerical ID. Changing your gamertag should only be a matter
of updating a single field in their database, and the same goes for gamer pictures. The system does not have to go back and update everything after a change.

I've encountered this once before, and the solution we reached was this:

The picture in the game is based on a profile picture you took a while ago, and I think within WP games it chooses the most recent picture you had of your Avatar. To change it, go to the web Avatar Editor (live.xbox.com/AvatarEditor)
and select 'Gamer Picture.' On the next screen you can choose 'gamer picture' where you can take a new 'image' of your Avatar, now wearing the updated clothing. This should then update in-game.

On your 360, you should then be able to change back to your current gamer picture while Uno and Hexic keep the most recent Avatar picture.
