In this case, you need to contact Activision support, as you already did.

Checking the Activision support page* I found this information:

"If you don't have access to the email address on your account, you will not be able to change your email address.

However, you can still log in to the account if you have any accounts linked to it.

To do this, select a linked account type on the Activision account login page, then log in to your linked account.

Due to privacy and security concerns, Activision Support may be unable to change account details."

You should still be able to log in using your linked account credentials. Have you linked your Xbox account to your Activision account before?

Ah I see. Unfortunately, I doubt that there is going to be anything that I can do to change anything on this account. The way activisions support system is set up makes it almost impossible to do anything correctly. Especially when changing account information is required. Thank you for the assistance. Hi, if you're trying to change the email address associated to the Activision account itself. Without accessing to that email first you're not going to be able to end the process

This is to avoid that someone else stole your account changing quickly the email address.

You can try reaching Activision support to see if something can be done from their side

But if not you need to keep using the Activision account with that old email

change new address to primary

login make sure its good

remove old address
