How to change bitrate of recording with xbox game bar?

Shouldn't even need to, I mean my Nvidia 750ti records at 1080p (res of my monitor) and 50mbps compared to the 5 of the Xbox One. I've got an external HDD now for the Xbox One and yet they don't let you change to record to that so you can up the bitrate.

No excuse.

If you are using the recorder built in for Windows 10, try using a capture card like Roxio Gamecap HD Pro or Elgato. Those will record better and it is also best to check your bitrate if you want a good recording. But if your PC is lower performance, try
30 FPS and 4000 Bitrate.

unless you mean usb, but i don't see how that would change the setting in game bar to record longer

I Think with the audio Controls In Xbox Game Bar Affect the Transmission and recording gameplayers, but no affect the game volume, for that you need change in game
