How to change 2 Microsoft accounts that are both associated with Xbox live gamer tags

Hi how can I change one Microsoft email account that’s associated with a Xbox live gamer tag to another Microsoft email account that’s associated with a Xbox live gamer tag can this be done. Will everything be transferred over from one gamer tag to the other like all my games and data for my games and my Microsoft account information like all my purchase history and my display name and display picture and the rest of the info that’s tired to it. I read up on that you can change the email on the current Microsoft account to another Microsoft email account and then make it your primary alias and everything should transfer over but I’m not sure if the other account that has got a Xbox live gamer tag associated to it that you are able to do this when the current Microsoft account has a gamer tag associated to it aswel. I read that you might have to create a new Microsoft email account that hasn’t got a Xbox live gamer tag associated to it to do this

Thanks for getting back. It says there’s a way to change the email that’s associated with Xbox account and everything should still be there on your Xbox account. Here is a link stating this. I’ve also read up on a few people that have done this to in the Xbox community support pages but just need some more inside information on this

You cannot merge accounts. Nothing can be transferred between accounts. All purchases and game history are tied to the original account and cannot be moved.

I have a very old Comcast email account associated with my Xbox Live gamer tag. I have tried multiple times to change that password, but the account no longer exists. I have another gamer tag associated with my MS Account, but it doesn't have XBOX live.
I could change that password, but now I don't have xbox live. How can this be fixed? I have tried multiple scenarios without luck and am paying for Xbox Live but unable to use it.

I am not sure how it happened. I already had a Microsoft account. When I got my xbox I created an account and got a gamer tag while setting up my xbox. I signed up for xbox live from my xbox using my existing gamer tag and Microsoft account. I then went
to xbox live and signed in using my Miicrosoft account, and for some reason when I did this a new gamer tag was created and associate to my Microsoft account. So, now when I log into xbox live I see one gamer tag. But on my xbox I have a different gamer
tag.
