    How to capture gamechat audio in clips


    Ive seen others have the ability to capture other peoples in game audio when capturing from the “record what happened” tab. Ive captured many times with people talking in game chat and when I rewatch the clips, Ive never been able to hear peoples game
    chat audio in the clip. How do I enable this?

    Audio tab in parties

    If in a party you are in party audio rather than gamechat. To go into gamechat whilst in a party go into the party, options near the bottom, and switch to gamechat. It automatically switches when you aren’t in a party.

    Maybe we didn't understand well, through the Xbox clips it never captures the party audio.
    Maybe you intend to record a clip with the game audio including your teammates' voice chat (no Xbox party)?

    Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, there is no native way to add microphone audio to clips and captures through the Xbox. Videos with audio from the Microphone and party chat are usually captures with external capture cards or added in using editing
    software.

    Unfortunately, clips do not capture audio from voice chat groups, they only capture in-game audio.

    Some users choose to use external capture cards for this purpose.
