How to Cancel Xbox GamePass subscription on an account for which I have lost password?

As the title says, I recently subscribed to Xbox Gamepass with a brand new microsoft account. Unfortunately, I have lost the password and I can not recover it by filling the recovery form. I have tried that multiple times and now it says limit has exceeded.

In this situation, how do I cancel my Xbox GamePass subscription since I have lost access to my microsoft account?

I'm afraid you might have to cancel your card. To contact an agent who may be able to help you, you will need another account to access support options. If you talk to a gamer, ask to be transferred to a Microsoft agent.

Try creating another account to be able to reach out to a support ambassador.

If you come across any issues requesting a call back or live chat on the Xbox support website, I recommend visiting Microsoft Virtual Agent

Then just type in “agent” and select the issue.

Select either of the option “Call me back” or “chat”

Thanks for the reply. I have tried the recovery form but the automated system refused to reset password despite giving correct details.

Is there a way to connect to a person to get this solved? I don't want to be charged recurrently on my card on an account that I no longer use. I tried the contact us link but no luck in getting a person to chat / call to fix this issue.
