Thanks for the suggestion. I'd looked into that already but gave it another try. Still didn't work but somehow changing all my regions and payment info back and forth seems to have worked. Not sure how but at least it's working now.

The language of a game is usually linked to the region it was purchased from. However, sometimes there are multiple choices for languages but that depends on the game.

I would recommend posting to the Skylanders forums to see if someone would know the answer there.

If you bought it from another. Country via Amazon or online you need to return it to the region of purchase and have a return address in that region

This is why you don't buy out of region very few manufacturers do international warranty and it wouldnt be most electronics it have to be portable
