    My account was blocked with no explanation. I filled out forms, etc. and attempted troubleshooting, reset, search web for solutions, etc. My account down for 3 days now and just got a form after several attempts to connect with company on Outlook / Account. The 'sites down' indicators on the web had a heat map of areas of concern and mine is one of them. Am concerned about legitimacy of the request of extensive information as the response has to travel past a number of third parties to get back to CDOC, right? How to 'know' the information is 'private' Is that form encrypted? The more 'personal info' provided to the web, the more breaches seem to occur. Very concerned about security here and how / who to 'trust' . Just like I need to be able to start my car or turn on a light, I need to be able to rely on some things working. If not, I need to find something not so disruptive. If my car doesn't start, I can call around and immediately know how I need to plan for the problem / resolution. This email issue is concerning as there is no idea about how long it will take or alternate options. There needs to be a better way to restore / repair these kinds of problems, the ones caused by updates are bad enough.. . Just a thought. Hope that Microsoft will consider looking at the processes and come up with a better solution. I have been using Windows all the way back to the start of Microsoft. Wish there was 'a person' to converse and resolve all this. Have lost major time that I need to help others and be responsible to them. Thanks for any help...

    there have been outages but I wouldn't fill out any form like that but I didn't directly request myself. We have no way from this end of as pertaining whether it's legitimate

    Microsoft is not responding to multiple requests to verify an account.

    I am a user like you. I am not Microsoft.

    The system is automated. It is not that they are not responding since the form is just a robot that takes in inputs and returns an output. It would have to be that there is an issue getting the response to your email or that the form is having issues being received.

    You can go to this link: [support.microsoft.com/home/contact] and input 'Account Access' and then go to 'Contact Support'.

    Once you're there, you can go to 'Microsoft 365 and Office' > 'Manage Account Security' and you will be able to talk to a support agent.

    They may be able to help you getting a response from the form or complete it on your behalf as the CDOC team can do this. Please keep in mind, they cannot open the account for you.

    how did someone go on your account, it is your responsibility to make sure your account is secure, they will probably deny your review.

    Once again, if the purchase only appears through your email like you mentioned before, then use the order number from the email in the form I mentioned in my first response ( https://support.xbox.com/forms/request-a-refund ). Please avoid sharing order numbers or purchase IDs through this forum since I am just a fellow gamer like you, and everyone has access to this public forum. It's for your own privacy and security.

    Yes, unfortunately credit card info only doesn't work

    You need to answer correctly most of the questions in the form :c
    But other than that is not possible to recover it, regular Microsoft support is not able to share account info with you due to security and privacy policies

    So basically everything related and available about how to recover an account is explained and described on the previous links
