How to be moderator?

First of all, contact your DM. Of course, after you become ambassador if you didn't have any suspensions in the last year.

Moderators are either employees of Microsoft (Microsoft Agent) or chosen by other forum staff. Moderators are chosen when/if needed based on a variety of factors. There is no specific route to becoming a moderator.

I believe you have to be invited to be a Moderator. If you want to contribute to the forms you can join the Xbox Ambassador programme and from there you may get asked to be a volunteer moderator.

No Im not talking about ambassador. I read somewhere that the moderators on xbox live are volunteers that help keep boosters and cheaters off the games. I just want to moderate to keep them off of live instead of filing a complaint.

Moderators only police the forums. You have to be chosen to become one. Asking to be one usually doesn't help.

If you mean you want to be part of the enforcement team, you would have to check with Microsoft to see if they have any job openings and apply like any other job.
