    1- Dont bloody block doorways.

2-If your the pilot ,dont abandon the chopper when its full.

3-If you have ammo ,bloody welll drop it even if you dont think anyone needs it.Players that are dry will home in on your pack .Good points for you and your helping your team immensley.

4- If you revive somebody drop a dam medic bag too, Nothing better than being in the heat of battle with 20 health.

5- Try and not be braindead.

    Thank you.

Good tips! Always try to have the heal spell with you too.

BTW, Shredder your name looks familiar, have I played some co-op with you?

The game is actually a great experiment in testing people's observationals skills...it's how you find out a lot about the mechanics. The first time I was summoned, I noticed I couldn't heal. Okay, I thought, that's fine. I'll be more careful. Then the
first shot of estus came, and I assumed maybe it was someone kindling. Then the next time it happened, I noticed it was just as the host was taking a swig of estus, and that's when the light clicked on - he's healing me. If someone is new to coop, then I'm
sure they wouldn't know this off the bat. Like I say, observation skills are as important as any other skill in this game, which is what makes it so great.

well sure...because every "medic" should opt for both defib AND madpack vs. carrying an offensive weapon of some kind such as the grenade launcher to I don't know...be vaguely useful for something besides babysitting all the "armchair-Rambo's" out there
    on this Betty's word alone

    .....heh

  5. Actually, much of what Tam said is good advice, especially points 1, 2, & 3. As for point 4, I also agree with Tam - if you're going to carry a defib unit, you should also carry a med-pack. If you're going to run with a grenade launcher, that's fine, but
if you do that, you should go all offense and not also equip a defib unit. Basically, it's a case of all or nothing, go big or go home, specialize - don't be a jack of all trades, etc. Point 5 is worded wrong, but I'm guessing the idea is to use common sense.

I have a laundry list I could add to this:

    1. Communicate with your squad constantly.

    2. Spot enemy targets as much as possible.

    3. Use cover and concealment to your advantage.

    4. Play according to your specific role.

    5. Learn the map layouts.

    6. Don't drive or fly a vehicle unless you know how (go into the training grounds to learn).

    7. Concentrate your fire on targets with allies to kill/destroy opponents faster.

    8. Flank and ambush regularly (never attack head on if it can be avoided).

    9. Don't underestimate the use of certain equipment (e.g., flashbangs and smoke grenades).

    10. Changes classes if the current one isn't working.

    11. Learn from your mistakes or from what your opponent is doing right.

    12. Control your rate of fire (semi-auto or burst at long-range; full-auto up close).

    13. Learn to lead your targets (the faster the target the more you lead)

    14. Account for bullet drop, especially when sniping over long distances.

    15. Use explosives to destroy cover to expose enemies.

    16. Use explosives to create new pathways.

    17. Aim around corners.

    18. Sprint across open ground to get to cover faster and make yourself harder to shoot.

    19. Crouch or go prone to increase accuracy and make yourself a smaller, less noticeable target.

    20. Look for lens-flare on enemy sniper rifle scopes.

    21. If not using explosives against air vehicles, aim for the pilot's seat (very hard to do).

    22. Against land or water vehicles, shoot the driver 1st unless the gunner is attacking you.

    23. Use Recon's PLD (& other devices) to spot and target enemy vehicles for friendly Engineers with rocket launchers.

    24. Use Recon's spawn beacon to help spawn squad inside enemy territory.

    25. Use bipod on Support's LMGs to lay down cover fire and close off an area.

    26. Pay attention to your map and surroundings at all times and react accordingly.

    27. Only use knife from behind.

    28. When aiming at vehicles, straight shots do more damage than angled shots.

    29. Duck under water while swimming to avoid detection (but don't drown).

    30. Use passenger seats in vehicles in conjunction with Engineer's lock-on rocket launchers to decimate enemy vehicles (best used in jeeps or in boats).

    31. Don't give away your position unnecessarily (shooting a turret for example in a moving vehicle).

    32. Follow squad leader/commander's orders for extra points.

    33. If squad leader, give orders constantly to direct flow of squad and to gain extra points (simply "spot" objectives).

    34. Move together w/squad to increase survivability & to gain squad bonuses as a result.

    35. Use distance on objective markers to judge distance with sniper scopes.

    36. Use cardinal directions and land-marks for communicating enemy positions (not positions that are relative to something or someone: left right, in front of, behind, etc.)

    37. Shorten communication to save time, but be specific (e.g., "enemy sniper on office roof to NE").

    39. Use grenades to get behind enemy cover, such as low walls or corners.

    40. Use as much equipment as possible in single life so that it doesn't go to waste.

    41. Use camouflage that matches the environment (adaptive camo works best as it changes with the maps themselves).

    42. Use weapons/equipment you're most comfortable with.

    43. Expand your skills by practicing in the training grounds.

    44. Don't revive allies until area is clear of enemies.

    45. Don't hip-fire unless the situation calls for cover fire or is in CQC.

    46. Aim whenever possible.

    47. Watch YouTube tutorial videos to learn about game quickly.

    48. Always play to the objective.

    49. Use double XP whenever possible to level up faster.

    50. Have fun!

  7. I paid for this game and Ill play it how I want to, K? How about YOU play in a party with a full squad and leave US alone? Seems easier to do that for yourself than to try and make everyone else play like you want them to , eh?

How to be a good player.

Exactly what Parallax said, Defrib/Medpack combo is negative gameplay, that second slot is infintely more useful as explosive or smoke - a medic is supposed to assault. 1,2 & 3 are spot on.

I agree with GGs list for the most part although personally I lonewolf, play to win, and am definteily jack of all trades...

  9. Well written Galactic. It seems like there are many headless chickens running around. A wee bit of common sense and courtesy goes a long way.

don't block the door way, that's all that really bugs me, I can get ammo (and points) from switching out dropped kits. but I don't know how many times I've gotten killed because some idiot is trying to peek through a doorway, instead of just getting through
it, that same idiot is the guy that bunches everyone up so the enemy can get an epic RPG multi kill
