How to allow my son to have a friend invite him to play Minecraft with him as a "friend"...

Hi, thank you for your response. I had set some items to "Allow" in Xbox settings for my son based on other Q&As that explained how to allow multiple player. It seems like when I set about 4 of those that these articles told me to "Allow" it showed the
public servers. When I set it to allow just friends, it allowed friends but said that he could not access servers due to account settings. When I set to allow just friends and multiplayer, it seemed to allow servers but did not show any of these pre-made
public servers but he had to enter information on the server that he wants to access. So this may be a good place. Thank you.

I don't think you can stop him from trying to access other Realms, but you can monitor the worlds he has access to unless they list themselves as adult only.

Oops, I thought above solved the problem. However, when I went back to my son's Minecraft later, I was still able to see a list of public servers for him to access. So having friends and multiplayer allowed does give access to public servers. Please
show me a solution to this. Thank you!

you should be able to see it thru the xbox companion app. that's how my friend does it when I invite him to play minecraft with me

My son is also 7. And is looking for friends to play this wonderful game minecraft with! He doesn't have a headset. Tell your son to add him.
