    How to add additional A/V receiver models to the list? (Sony STRDA1800ES)


    Is there a roadmap for adding additional A/V receiver models to the list of controllable units for Xbox One? I have a Sony STRDA1800ES and it's not available in the drop down list. Not sure which to choose as a close substitute. Regardless, if there is a
    way to submit model numbers for future updates, I'd love for this one to be added.

    How do I get X-Box One to turn on receiver, TV, and cable box?

    I have it hooked and working so far. During the set up it recognized my TV (Sony) and cable box (Motorola). It did not ask about a receiver (Sony). I would love to be able to say X-Box on and they all come on together. I do not know how to get to the
    settings area for the X-Box one as well. Or the power management area if it has one.

    When I turn everything on it changes channels and all fine. I just need to figure out how to turn them all on at once.

    Cable box HDMI to X-Box One

    HDMI from X-Box One to back of Sony receiver

    HDMI from Receiver to TV

    AV Receiver Model- Sony STR-DH720

    Cable box- Motorola DCH 3416

    TV- Sony Bravia 55" Cannot see model, but is a newer model It is 3-d capable.

    A/V Receiver

    I am looking to purchase a mid-range A/V receiver that guarantees HDR pass through. Had Sony 1070 which advertised HDR pass through which did not work. I returned receiver to BEST BUY for refund. Can anyone recommend a 4K receiver with HDR pass through guaranteed?

    I have the same issue with my Sony AVR (STRDH540). However, for simple on/off, mute and volume up/down commands, I don't think Sony has changed their remote command in ages. Just choose the model number closest to yours and you'd probably be fine.

    same day I bought Xbox One would work. The only reason I bought a new one was so I had all capabilities. I figured Sony and Xbox One had it all together. Please update ASAP. would like to know that I have everything working the correct way.

    I think you can add my to the list of people having this issue. I have a Sony STR-DE635 receiver and the Xbox One - although recognizing the make and model - did not assign an IR code to it, never went through any sort of wizard setup, and does not control
    it at all.
