How to activate the magnifier on PC with the Xbox One Controller?

It looks like you have activated the magnifier. To switch this off press the Xbox Button on the controller until it brings up the switch off menu (controller will vibrate) and then press the view button on the controller to switch the magnifier off.

With the Xbox One if you press and hold the power button on the controller until it vibrates and brings up the power off screen then press the view button on the controller activates and deactivated the magnifier on the console.

It's definitely not the magnifier. But thanks for the suggestion. This isn't a thing that happens for everything, it's a few apps and games.

Yes, is very easy. If using a controller, press and hold the Xbox button  until it vibrates, press the View button  and select Yes.

To turn it off, hold the Xbox button  until it vibrates, then press the Show button  again.

Alternatively, you can press the Xbox  button to open the dashboard, then go to Profile & System > Settings > Accessibility > Magnifier and check the box next to Magnifier On.

To disable it, uncheck the box.
To activate Magnifier if you are using a keyboard, press the Windows logo key + plus sign (+).

To disable it, press Windows logo key + Esc.

You can also activate using the controller.

Use the right stick  to interact with on-screen items.

Use the left stick  to interact with items on the screen.

Use the right trigger  to zoom in.

Use the left trigger  to zoom out.

If you want to maintain a specific magnification while gaming, follow the steps above to use Magnifier and press the Xbox  button twice. By doing this, you will be able to maintain the magnification while using the controller to play the game. To return to the magnifier controls, press the Xbox  button twice.
