How stringently are the Xbox accessibility guidelines followed by their studios?

As a disabled gamer, accessibility is something that is very important to me. A particular aspect for me is motion sickness, which is something that my cognitive issues can make me susceptible to. Things that can trigger this in games for me is usually field of view being too low, camera shake, and motion blur.

I’ve just been reading through the Xbox Accessibility Guidelines, and noted that in the most recent version published earlier this month they have added a section specifically addressing motion sickness:

**The following new and revised implementation guidelines have been added:

• 
  "Provide adjustable field of view settings."

  "Provide camera movement settings like the ability to adjust horizontal and vertical camera movement sensitivity and the ability to disable automatic camera movement."
  
  
• 
  Allow players to choose between 1st and 3rd person camera views
  
  
• 
  Avoid the use of camera shake, camera bobbing effects, motion blur, mouse blur, and more or provide an option to turn off these behaviors. (updates to wording only).**
  

This is great news for me personally, as it something that concerned me a little with Xbox, Forza Horizon 5 was a major culprit recently. The game has very excessive motion blur, and heavy camera shake. This makes the game unplayable for me.

To that end, what I’m really wondering is how stringently these guidelines are going to be followed by Xbox and their studios. Could this be something that is deemed essential for release? Is there any chance maybe Playground Games will release an update for FH5 addressing this? It’s all well and good having the guidelines there but if the likes of Playground are going to ignore motion sickness as an accessibility issue then it doesn’t inspire much confidence.
