How SoT saves progress after changing account in microsoft store?

Hello, does anyone knows on what basis SOT saves progress? I've switched account, because my second one has subscription. When I started SOT I was surprised that my pirate and all my progress are still here, from previous account. Does anyone knows how
does it work?

Okay, but on what factor does it recognises progress. Is it connected to win10 user account? If it is, how does it perform on using another pc? Its totally different account on different email.

After trying the suggested fixes, you can always try to uninstall the game and reinstall it. I don't know how game progress is saved, though, so be careful not to delete your game progress.
