How much until my next star ranking?

I've been about 3/5 of the way through my 4th star on the progress bar for what feel like a year. I've bought tons of stuff since then without it moving. My friend just got to 4 stars and his progress bar was immediately higher than mine. Something doesn't
seem right. How far away from 5 stars am I actually?

MyVIP update worse

why did you remove the percentage towards the next vip star level? Thanks for making it harder to see how much more money I have to spend until I reach the next star level. Genius

My VIP Rank

Hello, I'm currently a 5 star VIP member earning 10% back for the rest of the year. Last year as I was meeting the spending threshold to earn the 5 star rank, I was able to see the meter fill up and see how much I had left to spend to reach 5 star. If I
go to the my VIP page on the rewards site it just shows that I'm 5 star, but doesn't give me any indication of how much I've spent this year. I'm assuming that I will need to meet the same spending threshold by December 31st to maintain the 5 star level for
next year. How do I find out where I'm at for next year's rank if the information is not displayed on the site?

You are currently at 64% towards your fifth star. Keep in mind that the minimum requirement for five stars in your region is 1800 USD, so sub-$10 purchases would contribute less than 1% to your progress, and only a $18 purchase would increase your progress
by 1%.

The progress is what resets. You spend money this year, whatever rank you get to is your star rank for the following year. So you were 1 star last year (since you didn't make it to 2 star) and you will keep 1 star this year until you spend enough to earn
2 stars. However much money you spend this year will increase your star rank and you'll have that rank the following year.

That is how they've done it the last 2 years.

Ok thank you or that, The year before my rank got reset back to 0 from 2 stars as anything that was considered a pre order was removed and all my games were pre ordered. Thank you for clarifying that with me. I really hope pre orders count towards VIP Rank
as pre ordering now doesn't really make sense for me

They haven't announced a date, but it sounds like it will just continue through 2018.

As mentioned in our sticky on the forums, we will not be re-calibrating MyVIP ranks this year, so you will not lose your current progress. However, if you are still interested in knowing your total MyVIP spending this year, with your purchases on the 25th
you are currently at 94% progress towards your next rank. The minimum spend threshold is the minimum amount you must spend in a year to reach that rank. Therefore, you must spend 600 GBP to reach your third star and 900 GBP to reach four star MyVIP. Note that
the threshold listed is the amount required to reach each rank, so yes, if you spend 600 GBP to reach rank 3, you would only have to spend 300 GBP more to reach rank 4, since the minimum requirement for that rank is 900 GBP.
