How long does my xbox have to dry for after small amount if water gets into it

Hi there. It wouldnt be wise to clean your Xbox with water. All you need to do is use a lint free cloth and a very small amount of counter-top spray like flash. Use a tiny amount and avoid cleaning round the HDMI port and power port when cleaning. Use a
dry lint free cloth to dust them.

How much water are we talking about here? If the machine was leaking a large amount of water, that's not a fault with the console, that's an external spillage.

While the Xbox One does indeed contain a 'vapor chamber' the unit only contains a very small amount of liquid. This is all contained in a metal block as part of the heatsink. Since it's contained in a metal block, it's practically impossible to breach.
I mean you'd have to open up the machine and take a drill to it to get inside.

As for other people reporting water leakage on the original Xbox or the One S, this is impossible since neither of those machines contains a vapor chamber.

Mild Soap and Warm Water should do the trick. If you want you can also use a soft sponge or cloth the wash it with. Just rinse it off with warm water after wards and leave it to dry.

How long after you leave the room does this happen there is a setting that will turn the xbox off after a certain amount of time of no activity.

Not the greatest photos but you get the idea. It does not seem to matter how deep the water is. As long as you make the stack from the very bottom to above the water line this works.
