How long does it take for my Xbox to be shipped back from the service center

It’s actually 14 to 21 business days for an official repair or replacement from Microsoft, and this does include shipping time.

The exact wait time depends on a various number of factors though such as your country/region, the specific model, etc.

To check the status, follow these steps:

Sign in to the Device services site with your Microsoft account credentials.

Select the device that’s associated with your service request.

Select Repair Order at the bottom of the page. The status of your order will appear.

The customer service center is in Laredo. The actual repair center is in Mexico.

Cheaper to have them fixed in Mexico. And it is cheaper on the shipping if sent to and from the US. SO you send it to laredo, they fill up a truck, take it to the repair center, pick it back up, and ship it back out from Laredo.

Internatinal shipping through UPS can get expensive. Even US to Mexico will be double the shipping cost than US to US delivery.

So how long does it take for a same unit repair once they've recieved it at the service center

I'm also experiencing issues of xbox suppoert service quality from some time. There is a problem with delivering shipping labels from UPS system after creating a service order on the support website.

After few calls to the call center finally got a shipping label and sent the elite controller.

But right now it almost 2 weeks after I received a confirmation that controller has left the service center and it I'm still waiting for it to be delivered. It takes too long this time.

Remove all accessories from the Xbox console or Kinect sensor, and remove any discs from the Xbox hard drive.
If you send them, you probably won’t get them back.



If the repair center sends them back it will be within 10-14 business days from when you received your repair back.
