How is posting a clan recruiting post in LFG a temp ban offense?

None of the "Dont's" apply to his post... he didn't spam messages and he didn't ask anyone to add or follow... so no the standard doesn't apply here

Those are just general examples. It's considered the same as asking for people to follow the group, so it's considered spam.

So my friend and clanmate posted a recruiting post in Destiny 2 LFG and got temporarily banned for going against community standards... he didn't use any profanity and people often recruit for their clans using LFG without getting banned... can someone please tell me what goes against community standards?

Note: Plat stands for platinum rank, clan is the equivalent of a guild, RR=Raid report, K/D is kills to deaths ratio for pvp, dm=direct message

Using LFG to recruit is what goes against the rules.

LFG is meant for looking for people to play with. Literally anything else in the post such as clan recruiting, offering to sell/trade in game items is not allowed.

Many people DO actually get suspended for using LFG for recruiting. Its simply not allowed.

You can look through the forums and find numerous posts of people being suspended for doing exactly that.
