    How I Do I COMPLETELY Remove Microsoft Family Features?


    I've attempted several times to remove the account, I've dug through forums and responses, and none of them have worked. There's supposed to be a "..." next to the name, but there's nothing there, so how do I remove the account?

    It restricts things on my Laptop, like apps and browsers, I would like to play Minecraft Bedrock Edition, as I own the game, but, I get the prompt to ask for permission first, even though I've never had a Microsoft Family Account before! I went and checked, and I apparently did, despite never making one, nor requesting it... I've tried what feels like everything to no avail, if possible, I'd really like support with this, thank you.

    May I ask if you are an admin or parent of the family account?

    If you want to remove the family account, you need to remove the members and then remove yourself.

    If you are an adult / your account is an adult account you can always leave the family group

    All you need to do is sign in with your account here:

    https://account.microsoft.com/family/home > click on the little three dots next to "You" > select Leave family group

    I tried removing myself from Microsoft Family, but it doesn't work and some features in Forza Horizon 4 i want to access is still blocked, if i visit the "Remove yourself or a family member from your family group on Xbox", the page just kept loading and loading.

    As stated Microsoft Family is nothing to do with the Home Xbox feature. The link I posted explains exactly how it works. You can also use the built in help feature on the console to search for things like this.
