You can take music from a PC and play it on the Xbox but can not do it in reverse.

If you like to have your music on your PC and play it on your Xbox you should try windows media center.

I would recommend using windows media center so that you can stream music live from your PC right to your Xbox.

Unfortunately connecting an iPhone to the XBOX 360 will not allow you to listen to music from it. The only devices that work that are Apple based were the older style 1st and 2nd generation iPods with the big hard drives for plugging in and listening to
music on the XBOX 360. If you wanted to listen to music while playing on your console you'd have to setup streaming music from your PC to your XBOX 360. Instructions on how to do that can be found
