which games are you trying to download? If it's game pass games that requires at least windows 10

Have you tried to download the Windows 7/8 Launcher? If not, go to Minecraft website and download the Windows 7/8 launcher. Try playing the game using it. The Windows 10 launcher is having some instabilities lately.

Make sure you sign in with the correct Microsoft Account used for the Migration.

You can also try to run it on compatibility mode:

Right-click the Minecraft Launcher > Click Properties > Go to Compatibility tab > Check Run this program in compatibility mode for > Select Windows 7/8.

I was thinking about Games for Windows Live but I'm not sure how it works. I have a few questions first.

1- Can I run Games for Windows Live on my Windows 7 64bit pc?

2- Can I use the same id for Games for Windows Live that I use on my Xbox One?

3- Can I use my Xbox One controller for all games or is it just certain ones?

4- When downloading the new pc drivers for my controller, do I download both links or one or the other? If it's just one or the other which one do I download?

So I have to get Steam? How do I do that? Does this have anything to do with Games for Windows Live? Those run on Windows 7. And I am talking about Windows 8 games. Not Windows 7.
